Glossary//Six attributes
What each attribute means
01. Domain
A card's Domain is its faction — the thematic and mechanical family it belongs to. When
the Domain of your guess matches the secret card you have eliminated roughly 80% of the
pool in a single move, so it is usually the most valuable column to lock green early.
Cards carrying more than one rune are scored partially: every rune right turns the tile
green, some of them right turns it orange.
02. Type
Type is the card's functional category — Unit, Spell, Legend, Gear or Rune. It narrows the
pool by 50% or more on a match, making it the second most informative attribute after
Domain. A green Type alongside a green Domain typically leaves fewer than thirty
candidates.
03. Rarity
Rarity reflects how uncommon a card is in booster packs: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and
Showcase. On its own it discriminates little, but combined with the numeric attributes it
often pinpoints the exact card.
04. Energy
Energy is what you spend to play the card from hand. It is numeric, so a wrong guess shows
an arrow: ↑ if the secret card costs more, ↓ if it costs less. Treat the column as a
binary search — if your guess cost 4 and the arrow points up, every guess that follows
should cost 5 or more.
05. Power and Might
Power is a Unit's attack value, Might its survival value. Spells, Gear and Runes have
neither and display an em dash — itself useful information. Might is often the final
discriminator: once everything else is green or narrowly pinned, it is what separates the
last two or three candidates.
